No citizen shall be left behind...

No citizen shall be left behind...

It is sad that few members of Congress, especially Christian extremist and fundamentalist Congressmen have hijacked the issue of abortion to disrupt the budget negotiation, not only they are ignoring the rest of the Congress to make their point but they are holding hostage the rest of the country. I am not sure if most of these extremist congress men and woman are part of the Republican or Democratic or new Tea Party. .

Because most of media is pointing figure to Tea party and it may be possible that few members of Republican and members of the Tea party, especially Christian extremist, are responsible for any delay for passing the bill. They are taking the back door to eliminate funding, under Title 10, to any organization that provides valuable health care services to needy women and provide abortion services as well. My understanding is that most of such organizations do not use federal funding for abortion and federal funding is used only for other valuable health care services.

Even though, I am personally against abortion but I am not in favor to stop it altogether. Instead, I recommend establishing educational programs for women and teens that needs abortion instead creating roadblocks for them. May be one day we will be able to eliminate or minimize the need of abortion through education and supportive programs. Until then, abortion is necessary procedure for women and teens with unwanted pregnancy, rape victims and other emergency situations.

I am glad that President Obama, Senator Behnor and Senator Reid are willing to make every effort to pass the bill today

Christian extremist Congressmen, regardless of their party affiliation need to understand that Congress must work for all citizens regardless of their religion, race, sex or creed and no citizen shall be left behind. I hope that Christian extremist Congressmen come to their senses and stop playing the political games at such a critical time and work towards a solution to pass the budget bill today.
